Camera Features
1. Software Interface
Mouse-controlled OSD Interface: The camera settings can be adjusted using a mouse, which makes navigation and parameter adjustments easy and intuitive. The OSD (On-Screen Display) interface appears when the mouse is moved to the left side of the screen and disappears when moved out.
Photo & Video Shortcuts: Clicking the left mouse button captures a photo, while the right mouse button starts and stops video recording.
2. Photo and Video Functions
Photo Capture: Photos are stored directly to a USB flash drive with an indicator showing when storage is complete. This is a simple and direct method for capturing still images during microscope operation.
Video Recording: Videos are recorded and saved on a USB flash drive. The user is advised to avoid repeated start/stop actions due to potential delays caused by USB writing speeds. The system supports using the right mouse button as a shortcut for starting and stopping recordings.
3. Preview and Playback Functions
Photo Preview: Users can view and compare up to four stored photos at a time and perform operations such as delete or enlarge selected photos for comparison.
Video Playback: Users can view recorded videos, play them back at different speeds (normal, 2X, 4X), and delete files. Deletion is irreversible, so caution is advised.
4. Image Settings
Exposure Control: The camera allows both automatic and manual exposure adjustments based on light conditions. Exposure time and gain can be manually set for finer control.
White Balance: Three white balance modes (Manual, Single, and Auto) provide flexibility in adjusting color settings to match the microscope’s lighting conditions. The manual mode allows fine-tuning of red, green, and blue gain.
5. Image Quality Adjustments
Brightness, Contrast, and Chroma: Users can adjust image brightness, contrast, grayscale, and chroma to enhance the visual output, providing clear and optimized images for observation.
Noise Reduction and Sharpness: The camera has 2D and 3D noise reduction capabilities, which reduce noise without compromising image sharpness. The sharpness setting can also be adjusted for clearer image outlines.
6. Enhancement Features
De-fog: This feature removes haze from the image and can be set manually or automatically to improve image clarity in foggy conditions.
Dynamic Range: The dynamic range setting adjusts the camera’s tolerance to light intensity, allowing better handling of various lighting conditions in the microscope view.
Exposure Area: Users can choose between global or center exposure, allowing specific focus on the center of the image where details may be most important.
7. Image Direction & Resolution
Image Flip and Mirror: Users can flip or mirror the image as needed, allowing adjustments to the display based on personal preference or orientation.
Resolution Control: The camera output resolution can be adjusted from the menu, providing flexibility in image quality based on usage needs.
8. Device Settings
Date and Time Adjustment: The system allows users to adjust the internal clock to keep track of when images and videos are captured.
Storage Status: The device only supports FAT32-formatted USB drives, ensuring proper functionality when storing media files.
System Upgrade: Users can upgrade the system software using a USB flash drive, ensuring the device remains up-to-date.
Language Selection: The camera supports English and Chinese language options for the interface.
