Ora-Aid - Attachable Intraoral Wound Dressing is a non-eugenol wound dressing designed for use in the oral cavity. Ideal for protecting wounds after oral surgeries such as extractions, implants, bone grafts, and periodontal surgeries, Ora-Aid aids in healing by shielding the affected area from irritants such as food, bacteria, and cigarette smoke. With strong adhesion, thanks to its hydrophilic polymer composition, Ora-Aid provides a secure, self-adhesive barrier that interacts with saliva, making it easy to apply and highly effective. Its mint flavor also helps reduce bad breath, enhancing patient comfort.
How to Use Ora-Aid:
Irrigate the Wound: Clean the wound with sterile or saline solution.
Trim Ora-Aid: Cut Ora-Aid into the desired shape and size according to the wound area.
Remove Excess Moisture: Use gauze to slightly dry the wound, ensuring it’s not overly wet, as excess moisture can affect adhesion.
Apply Ora-Aid: Peel off the transparent release paper and gently press Ora-Aid onto the wound for 5 to 10 seconds to ensure it adheres properly.
Ensure Adhesion: For best results, make sure Ora-Aid adheres to hard tissue and avoid excessive moisture during application.
