How to Use the DT15 Tip

1. Preparation:

  • Ensure the tip is clean, sterilized, and free from visible debris before use.
  • Attach the DT15 Tip to the physiotherapy handpiece by rotating it clockwise until securely fastened.

2. Laser Setup:

Select the Pain Therapy preset treatment program or manually adjust the laser parameters to the recommended settings:

3. Application Procedure:

  • Position the tip in light contact with or slightly above the treatment area, depending on the application.
  • Move the tip in slow, circular or linear motions to cover the affected region evenly.
  • Typical application time per area is 1-2 minutes, ensuring consistent energy delivery without lingering in one spot.

4. Post-Treatment:

  • After completing the procedure, detach the tip by rotating it counterclockwise.
  • Clean and sterilize the DT15 Tip following the manufacturer’s guidelines to prepare it for future use.

5. Important Notes

  • Reusable Tip: The DT15 Tip can be reused but must be properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized after each use to maintain hygiene and performance.
  • Protective Measures: Ensure that all personnel and the patient wear protective goggles to prevent accidental laser exposure injuries.
  • Controlled Movements: Maintain steady and gentle motion to avoid excessive heating of the tissue and ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
