The MF3-4 Tip and MF3-9 Tip are medium-sized, single-use laser tips designed for soft tissue applications requiring moderate precision. These tips are ideal for treatments such as minor surgical procedures and tissue sculpting, balancing energy efficiency with versatility.

How to Use the MF3-4 and MF3-9 Tips

1.      Preparation:

·       Select the appropriate tip based on the required tissue penetration or area coverage:

o   MF3-4 Tip: For smaller, more focused applications.

o   MF3-9 Tip: For slightly larger coverage or deeper tissue interaction.

·       Remove the selected tip from its sterile packaging.

·       Attach the tip to the handpiece by rotating it clockwise until securely fitted.

2.      Laser Setup:

·       Choose the relevant preset treatment program on the device based on the procedure (e.g., gingivectomy, frenectomy, or excision).

·       Configure the laser parameters according to the clinical need:

3.      Application Procedure:

·       Position the tip close to the treatment area.

·       Use steady, deliberate movements to sculpt, vaporize, or remove tissue.

·       Monitor the tissue response continuously to ensure controlled operation.

·       If tissue debris accumulates on the tip, clean the surface following sterilization protocols to maintain cutting efficiency.

4.      Post-Procedure:

·       Safely remove the tip by unscrewing it counterclockwise.

·       Dispose of the tip immediately, following proper biohazard disposal regulations, as these tips are single-use only.

 Important Notes

·       Single-Use Only: The MF3-4 and MF3-9 Tips must not be reused to prevent cross-infection or compromised performance.

·       Protective Equipment: All personnel, including the patient, must wear protective goggles to avoid laser exposure injuries.

·       Precise Handling: Avoid touching the tip’s working surface during installation or use to prevent contamination or damage.
