The MF2-14 and MF2-20 Tips are fine, single-use laser tips designed for precision-oriented dental treatments. It is particularly suitable for soft tissue applications, ensuring minimal collateral damage and precise control during delicate surgical and therapeutic procedures.

1. Preparation:

·       Remove the tip from its sterile packaging.

·       Screw the MF2-14 or MF2-20 Tips onto the handpiece in a clockwise direction until securely attached.

·       Ensure the surface of the tip is clean and avoid touching it during installation.

2. Laser Setup:

·       Select the appropriate preset treatment program based on the procedure (e.g., incision, gingivectomy, or other soft tissue operations).

3. Application Procedure:

·       Position the tip close to the target tissue.

·       Begin with short, controlled strokes to vaporize, incise, or coagulate the tissue, depending on the clinical objective.

·       Move the tip steadily to prevent excessive heat buildup in one area.

·       Regularly assess tissue response and adjust the settings if necessary.

4. Post-Procedure:

·       Dispose of the MF2-14 and MF2-20 Tips safely as it is a single-use component.

·       Follow proper biohazard disposal protocols to prevent cross-contamination.

 Important Notes

·       The MF2-14 and MF2-20 Tips are specifically designed for single use only and should not be reused to avoid the risk of cross-infection.

·       Always test the laser’s aiming beam before the procedure to ensure accurate operation.

·       Protective goggles must be worn by all personnel and the patient to prevent laser exposure injuries.

·       Maintain smooth movements during treatment to avoid tissue charring or overheating.
