1. How do I turn on the Woodpecker Fi-G Obturation System?
To turn on the device, press and hold the "ON/OFF" button on either side of the instrument. The display screens on both sides will light up, indicating that the device is powered on. If there is no operation for 10 minutes, the device will automatically shut down.

2. How do I adjust the temperature for heating gutta-percha?
After turning on the device, press the "ON/OFF" button again to cycle through the preset temperatures (150°C, 180°C, 200°C, 230°C). The display will show the selected temperature. Choose the appropriate temperature based on the size of the Gutta Percha Injecting Needle you are using.

3. What should I do if the battery level is low?
When the battery level indicator shows one grid or no power, it’s time to recharge the device. Place the instrument on the charging base connected to a power adapter. The LED indicator on the base will show yellow while charging and green when fully charged. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the device.

4. How do I load the gutta-percha into the Fi-G Obturation System?

First, ensure the pushing ram is retracted by holding down the limit switch. Tilt the device downwards and insert a single gutta-percha stick into the loading slot. Push the gutta-percha into the heating chamber until fully inserted, indicated by the black marker on the pushing ram being fully advanced.

5. How do I safely replace the Gutta Percha Injecting Needle?
Turn off the device and allow it to cool for at least 5 minutes before replacing the needle. Use the provided wrench to remove the old needle by turning it counterclockwise. Install the new needle by tightening it clockwise, but avoid over-tightening. Use the wrench to bend the needle to the desired angle.

6. How do I clean and maintain the Fi-G Obturation System after use?
After each operation, set the temperature to 150°C to soften any remaining gutta-percha, then use the cleaning brush to remove residual material from the heating chamber. Make sure to clean, disinfect, and sterilize the Thermal Protector Cap, Gutta Percha Injecting Needle, and other accessories according to the manual.

7. What should I do if the charging indicator flashes or does not light up?
If the LED on the charging base is flashing or not lighting up, check all connections and ensure the power adapter is properly connected to the charging base and a standard socket. If the issue persists, consider inspecting the charging base or contacting customer support for further assistance.
