Usage Instructions

1.Tip Installation:

• Screw the selected surgical tip onto the handpiece until it is flush using the provided torque wrench.
• Hold the plastic body of the handpiece firmly, avoiding the cord and end part.
• Turn the torque wrench clockwise until it clicks to ensure proper tightening.

2. Connection:

• Ensure the handpiece is securely connected to the Ai-Surgery system.
• Verify the electrical contacts inside the cord connector are dry before connection.

Cleaning and Sterilization

1. Post-Use Cleaning:

• Flush the handpiece and tip for 20–30 seconds in irrigation mode immediately after each procedure.
• Use distilled or deionized water to rinse away surface dirt.
• Disassemble components such as the light pipe and LED lamp, and clean with a soft brush.

2. Sterilization:

• Use steam sterilization at 132–134°C for a minimum of 4 minutes.
• Ensure components are fully dry before use to prevent electrical issues.
• Do not exceed 138°C or use ultrasonic cleaning methods.

Maintenance

• Regularly inspect the handpiece for visible damage or wear.
• Replace worn or damaged components to maintain optimal performance.
• Store in a clean, dry, and ventilated environment when not in use.

Warranty

The Woodpecker / DTE HB2-LED Handpiece includes a ONE-YEAR warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects. Misuse, improper handling, or accidental damage are not covered under the warranty.
