i Led II Introduction Video

General Use

1. How do I select different power modes on the i LED II curing light?

  • Press the "Mode Change" button to cycle through three power modes:
  • Turbo Power Mode (P0): 2700-3000 mW/cm² for 1-3 seconds.
  • High Power Mode (P1): 1800-2000 mW/cm² for 3-5 seconds.
  • Standard Power Mode (P2): 1000-1200 mW/cm² for 5-20 seconds.

2. How long should I cure composite materials?

  • For a 2mm composite layer, the recommended curing times are:
  • Standard Power: 1×10 seconds.
  • High Power: 2×3 seconds.
  • Turbo Power: 1×3 seconds.

3. How do I know when to recharge the unit?

  • The screen will start to "wink" when the battery is low. Connect the curing light to the charger promptly to avoid shutdown.

Cleaning and Disinfection

4. How should I clean the i LED II curing light?

Before each use, wipe the device surface with a soft cloth or paper towel soaked in 75% medical alcohol. After use, clean with distilled or deionized water using a clean soft cloth.

5. How do I clean and sterilize the point cure lens?

Clean with distilled water or deionized water, and disinfect using an automated washer-disinfector. Do not expose the lens to temperatures above 138°C, and do not use strong acidic or alkaline cleaning agents.

6. How often should I sterilize the optical fiber?

The optical fiber can be sterilized up to 500 times. Ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection before sterilization.

Troubleshooting

7. The screen displays “Er” or is unresponsive. What should I do?

This could indicate a system error or a faulty unit. Send the device for service and repair.

8. What should I do if the curing light doesn’t charge?

Check that the adapter is connected properly. If the issue persists, ensure the adapter is compatible with the device or send it for repair.

9. The light intensity is weak. How can I fix this?

Clean any resin buildup on the top of the main unit, as this could reduce the light's effectiveness.

Daily Maintenance

10. How often should the i LED II curing light be maintained?

Monthly maintenance is recommended. However, the disposable sleeve is single-use and requires no maintenance.

11. What precautions should I take if I won’t use the device for an extended period?

Charge the battery every six months to prevent damage caused by long-term storage.

Operation and Features

12. How do I stop the curing light mid-cycle?

Press the power button at any time to stop the blue light during operation.

13. What happens if the curing light overheats?

If the device becomes too hot, stop operation and allow it to cool before restarting. It is recommended to avoid using the curing light continuously for more than 10 cycles.

14. Can I rotate the top of the curing light?

Yes, the top can rotate 360 degrees, but it should not be forcibly removed.
