Cleaning, Disinfection, and Sterilization FAQs:
1. What type of cleaning agents should I avoid to prevent damaging the device?
Avoid using strong detergents and disinfectants with a pH greater than 9 (alkaline) or less than 5 (acidic), as they can reduce the product's lifespan. The manufacturer will not be responsible for damage caused by such chemicals.
2. How many times can I sterilize the lip hook, file clip, and touch probe?

No, ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended for these products.
5. How do I perform automated cleaning?
Use a washer-disinfector certified according to EN ISO 15883, ensuring it has a flushing connector for internal cavities. Cleaning agents such as pure water, distilled water, deionized water, or multi-enzyme solutions can be used.
6. What is the recommended disinfection procedure?
Automated disinfection is preferred, using a washer-disinfector certified according to EN ISO 15883. The disinfection temperature should not exceed 134°C, and the process should last no more than 20 minutes.
7. How should the device be dried after cleaning?
You can use either compressed air (max 3 bar pressure) or a medical drying cabinet at 80°C to 120°C for 15–40 minutes. Ensure drying is done in a clean environment.
8. What should I do if there are still visible stains after cleaning?
If stains remain, repeat the entire cleaning and disinfection process. Do not proceed with sterilization until the product is visibly clean.
9. What are the recommended sterilization procedures?
Only use steam sterilization via the fractional pre-vacuum procedure. The highest sterilization temperature should be 138°C, with at least 4 minutes at 132°C to 134°C and a pressure of 2.0 to 2.3 bars.
10. Can I store the sterilized device indefinitely?
No, after sterilization, the product should be stored in a medical sterilization bag in a special storage cabinet. The storage time should not exceed 7 days. If exceeded, reprocess before use.
11. What precautions should I take during transportation?
Prevent excessive shock and vibration, avoid exposure to the sun, and ensure it is not mixed with dangerous goods during transportation.
