Woodpecker ES5+ Electric Surgical Motor
The Woodpecker ES5+ is an advanced electric surgical motor designed for precise dental procedures. The package includes two handpieces (high-speed and surgical), with additional options such as slow-speed and implant handpieces available for purchase in our store. It features an independent water and saline supply for safer, more sterile procedures like periodontal surgery, apical surgery, and extractions. A 5-inch touchscreen offers dedicated modes for surgical and restorative use, enhancing control and efficiency.
Features:
- Dual mode functionality: Surgical mode (External saline) is compatible with handpieces in ratios of 1:1, 1:3, 1:4.2, and 1:5. Restorative mode (Internal water) is compatible with handpieces in ratios of 16:1, 1:1, 1:4.2, and 1:5
- Water and saline supply: The device features a 1000ml water tank suitable for distilled or treated water. It also includes an external saline supply, offering sterilizable irrigation tubes essential for infection control and postoperative recovery. Additionally, two external irrigation lines are available, which come in autoclavable or single-use options
- Touch screen interface: The 5-inch touch screen provides separate display screens for surgical and restorative procedures, enhancing user interface and control
- Handpiece compatibility: The ES5 is compatible with an LED light handpiece, ensuring better visibility during procedures. It also offers adjustable speed ratios with eight pre-programmed settings for optimal speed control
- Enhanced safety and efficiency: The brushless motor reduces vibration, heat, and noise, ensuring a stable and reliable performance. Additionally, the device provides up to 50% less aerosols compared to air turbine treatments, creating a safer operating environment. Moreover, it boasts high cutting efficiency, up to 97.4% times higher compared to regular turbines, allowing for precise and smooth cuts
- Cooling systems: The ES5 features external saline irrigation, which is ideal for surgical applications such as crown work, sectioning, and sterile rinsing. Additionally, it includes an internal water supply, providing cooling during restorative tasks like trimming, caries removal, and polishing
