Installation and Setup

1. What should I check when unboxing the ultrasonic scaler?
   Ensure that all parts and accessories are present as listed in the packing list. Place the main unit on a stable surface suitable for the operator.
2. How do I connect the foot switch and water pipe?
   Insert the plug of the foot switch into its socket. Connect one end of the water pipe to the scaler's water inlet and the other end to a clean water source.
3. How do I turn on the device?
   After connecting everything, switch on the power. The power indicator will light up, and the touch panel will allow you to adjust settings.
4. How do I adjust the water spray?
   Step on the foot switch to activate the scaler, and adjust the water control knob to achieve a fine spray for cooling and cleaning.

Usage and Operation

5. How should I hold the handpiece?
The handpiece can be handled like a pen for optimal precision and comfort during use.

6. How do I prevent damage to the scaling tip or teeth?
Avoid applying too much pressure and ensure the tip does not make vertical contact with the teeth surface.

7. What should I do after finishing the operation?
Keep the scaler running for 30 seconds with water to flush the handpiece and tip. Then, unscrew the tip and sterilize it.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

8. What should I do if the scaling tip doesn’t vibrate and no water flows?

• Check if the power plug and foot switch are properly connected.
• If the issue persists, contact the dealer to inspect the fuse or circuit.

9. Why does the tip vibrate, but there’s no water spray?
Ensure the water control knob is turned on. If the issue persists, increase the water pressure or check for blockages in the pipe.

10. How do I address water leakage from the handpiece?
The waterproof O-ring may be damaged—replace it with a new one.

11. What should I do if the handpiece overheats?
Increase the water flow using the control knob. If the problem persists, check for blockages in the water pipe or consider replacing the potentiometer.

Cleaning, Disinfection, and Sterilization

12. Can I clean the handpiece in an ultrasonic cleaning machine?
No, the handpiece should not be cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner to avoid damage.

13. How many sterilization cycles can the components endure?

• Handpiece: 600 cycles
• Scaling tip: 300 cycles
• Wrench: 1000 cycles

14. What is the recommended sterilization process?
Use a steam sterilizer with fractional pre-vacuum cycles. The maximum sterilization temperature is 138°C for a duration of at least 4 minutes at 134°C.

Storage and Transportation

15. How should the device and accessories be stored?
Store in a clean, dry environment with 10%-93% relative humidity. Sterilized products should not be stored for more than 7 days without reprocessing.

16. What precautions should be taken during transportation?
Handle with care to avoid shocks and vibrations. Avoid exposure to sunlight, rain, or snow, and do not transport with hazardous materials.
